The drawings are warm, kind, and recognisably of the person. A guest sits. They watch a portrait of themselves take shape. They walk back into the room holding it.
That small pause — five or ten minutes away from the room — tends to be one of the things people remember most clearly. Not the speech they half-heard, not the favour they left on the table. The moment someone looked at them carefully, and made something.

Meet your Illustrator
Hi, I’m Caleb – I’ll be the artist sketching your guests on the day.
I an illustrator based just outside Canterbury. Over the last fifteen‑plus years I’ve worked with animation and design studios, publishers and theatre companies, as well as drawing live at weddings and events. I have an MA in Illustration and a BA in Fine Art, and a lot of my work sits where portraits, storytelling and performance overlap.
Live wedding portraits are how I bring that experience into your day: real people, real time, and a level of craft that comes from years of drawing for books, stages and brands.
